This off-road experience takes you through coffee and spice plantations, countryside routes, and rugged trails that are rarely explored. As the drive progresses, the terrain changes gradually, climbing to nearly 1,600 metres above sea level, where the air feels cooler and the surroundings noticeably quieter.
At the highest point of the drive, you arrive at a lesser-known viewpoint overlooking untouched valleys and dense forest. On clear days, Tadiyandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg, is visible in the distance. The pace naturally slows here, giving you time to take photographs or simply sit with the view.
In the monsoon months, the experience is often accompanied by rolling mist and gentle rain across the valleys before the drive back. Designed for those who enjoy being off the beaten path, The Rain Drive offers a simple, memorable way to experience Coorg beyond its usual routes.
